To create a shareware screensaver that requires license key , for sale or for any use , first of all you should have a professional edition of Power Screensaver Builder. Following steps show how to create a shareware screensaver:
1 : Select "Registration" item in "Settings" tab , and fill some information required in "reg seed" , "trial period" and buy link .ect.
The registration seed is a unique string that is used to distinguish with other screen saver you create , you can enter any string in the field , different registration seed for different shareware screen saver. it will be used as a parameter to create license keys to unlock your screen saver .
2 : To easy distribute your screensaver , please use a screensaver installation file (setup) in "Output" tab .
3 : Shareware screen saver will pop up window to let end user visit the buy page specified in the first step when trial period is expired or end use open the screen saver configuration dialog , such as following:
